Biggest Sleepers in 6th and 7th

Featured Replies

Who are the biggest sleepers in the 6th and 7th Regions?

7th Region (as usual) is loaded with top 10 teams Manual and J-Town. Eastern, Male, and Ballard may all be top 25 teams. My darkhorse would be Louisville Seneca. The Redhawks are young and have talent. They probably won't win the region, but they may spring an upset or two in post season play.

I have to agree. I think Seneca in the 7th will surprise and be right there at the end. Is Maddox playing? Who are some of the other players on the outside of the top ten? Gunter at X? Little at Trinity? In the 6th - Thornsberry at Desales?

Who said Little was outside of the top 10 players in the 7th? He may be inside of it. Seneca will be legit. The 7th region will go 7 or 8 teams deep in strength this season.

Iroquois in the 6th with Donovan Gibbs having a break out junior year!

Seneca in the 7th with alot of young talent. Look for them to upset many of the power house teams in the 7th.

Well it's the two Louisville regions which just happens to be the biggest city in the state, considering that J-Town, Ballard, Male, PRP, Manual, Western, Central and Trinity are all among the two regions I doubt any other school would knock all of those teams out and make it to state. The odds are just against them.

Iroquois won't be a surprise team. They are expected to win and I would be "surprised" is they are not the picked favorites along with Fairdale.
