I drove past Gilligan Stadium on my way to Urban Active tonight and there were a lot of cars parked in the neighborhood . What sort of turn out was there for the game ?

 

The stands were by no means full, but there was a healthy (and LOUD) Beechwood turnout. If not the 200 they were predicting, then close. A few Beechwood boys showed up with body paint and led some cheers.

Not every sports fan enjoys all sports....this should be about the girls that want to play socceer and stay at Beechwood to do so....we should be happy for those kids that get the opportunity to play a sport they love and stay at a school they also enjoy.

Forget all the other 'adult' emotions and politics!
