I have nothing to say about that if your being serious thats insane.

Its just that I dont care...

You and some might think I'm taking this to far but I mean are you kidding. I mean you don't have to have any personal connection or anything to understand thats what he did to live animals is just as bad as almost everything below murder of a human. The fact that you would even say " he just killed some dogs" blows my mind. If I had to guess I would say your some young kid messing with the thread to stir up talk.

An animal dying is no where near as bad as a human. Other than that, I dont have that much to say on the issue. This is just not that big a deal to me and it keeps getting brought up.

"Vick is receivig a contract offer, reported X amount of dollars for the dog destroyer"

Was what happened bad? Sure. But its not like he raped 4 girls while hopped up on PCP and killed 3 guys. Its no worse than rooster fighting which half of my family in eastern KY is probably guilty of. Again... Im not condoning it or saying its ok to go do that.. but its not NEARLY as bad as so many make it out to be. Its an animal, not a person. That said, its obvious from our drastic difference of opinion on this that we arent going to agree. So I'll just leave it at that.

Even in a thread about Michael Vick someone can get a shot at Eastern KY in... Unreal.

comply with Rule #13

Chicken fighting is not just and Eastern Kentucky thing, it's in at least Central Kentucky.

Vick got a raw deal. Pacman is responsible for a young man being in a wheel chair, and Lord knows what Henry has done. Vick fought and bet on a few dogs that were bred to fight. These dogs were not anybody's house pets, they are bread to fight. The PETA radicals don't seem to realize this, as they don't realize alot. Vick should be made fun of and lose a lot of his endorsement deals, but he should not be suspended or in prison.

Yes, but my family isn't in Central KY. The members of my family I was referring to are from Lawrence Co.

My family is also in eastern KY, and I now livein in central KY. Chicken fighting is not an acitivity that should be trashed or looked down on, I personally don't like it, but I don't like soccer either, so I just turn the channel or don't go to the games. The biggest chicken fight outfits are in central KY. It's a KY thing, not really just a mountain thing.

Im not trashing it/looking down on it... I'm saying what Vick did is no different than rooster fighting. That activity is not looked down upon with the same level that the Vick situation was.

That is true. The only difference is people compare the dogs to lap dogs they have and roosters to KFC.
