That wad of tissue, as you call it, is a living, breathing, viable, human being. If you snuff its life out you have murdered.

How do you know what all of those things mean. Which prophet had his lips BURNED as a method of purification.

 

But lets say you are correct - those are God's decisions, not man's. The death penalty is man's decision. And while you will say it is the state, I will say in a democracy that I AM THE STATE. Therefore if the State sanctions execution I SANCTION it. FWIW, I don't.
