R-F/North Oldham Match-up a big one tomorrow. Winner faces a weaker opponent in the semis on Tuesday, loser faces Laurel.

 

 

North Oldham 11 year olds defeated R-F alot to nothing... They will be the champion unless a miracle happens.

R-F will play Marion in the first semi. I apologize for the "weaker opponent" comment in the previous thread, was simply going by how they were in a dog fight with Grayson the first three innings, whom R-F previously beat 31-0.

 

Laurel vs North Oldham in the other semi.

 

Could be two great games or two blowouts...who knows at this point, and does anyone on here really care?

South Hardin won winner's bracket and South Shore beat NorthOldham and will now play South London in final of loser's bracket tonight(just passing info as told to me). This is in 10's.

Jackson beat Russell in 11's by a score of 21-19 in 3 + hours. Advances to play N. Oldham who has won first 2 games by a score of 67-1, or something close to that.

South Hardin won winner's bracket and South Shore beat NorthOldham and will now play South London in final of loser's bracket tonight(just passing info as told to me). This is in 10's.

South London ended up beating South Shore 16-4 in 10's.

South London plays South Hardin tonight and tomorrow if necessary.

In 11's championship North Oldham beat Jackson Co. 19-0.

I know for Laurel County, there are only 2 girls from last year's North Laurel state championship team on this year's roster and 1 is the pitcher they will use against RF. Several of the others were in minor league last year. This should be a GREAT game and it seems that these 2, much like last year, were the 2 best teams in the tourney.

Russell wins 12's by 1 and South Hardin wins 10's by 2.

Congrats to Russell Flatwoods and South Hardin on winning their respective state championships! Good luck to RF at the US Central Regionals in Carthage, MO!

I read in Maysville paper that Flemingsburg won 13-14 yr. old girls state and will advance to Akron, OH for regionals.

I coached some of the girls that is on the Russell team when my daughter went to Russell they are a great group fo young ladies and wish them the best and good luck in the Central Regionals.I want to wish South Hardin good luck also.
