June 30, 200818 yr Aside from the message liberals would be sending to Bush by naming a sewage treatment plant after him, what kind of message does it send to the people who work in the wastewater treatment field? If San Franciscans go along with this silly proposal, then I hope Bush attends the ribbon cutting ceremony and uses the opportunity to thank all people who work in jobs like sewage treatment, solid waste disposal, etc. who apparently get no respect from liberal Democrats. I think that this would be fertile ground for Republicans to harvest a few votes. Why don't you just get some of your friends to name a nuclear plant after Bill Clinton? Would that make you feel better? I doubt any sanitation engineers love their jobs, so I don't think this will give them a crisis of faith in their profession.
