I couldn't find his name on uskidsgolf.com, could it be the regional qualifier that he won? The highest ranking Kentuckian that I found was in the 6 and under division, Preston Jensen from Winchester, Kentucky tied #7 in the World Champs last year.

Re-read my post, I think you are a little confused about what I said if you are referring to Bowling. He is PLAYING in his third straight world tournament. He does not play out of KY he plays out of Florida.

I will try this again, Chad Bowling does not live in NKY. He lives in Ft Meyers, FL. He only plays in the US KIDS GOLF tournaments, usually.

According to the US Kids webpage, Coach McDonald's son did qualify for this years World Championship in Pinehurst. The webpage says he shot a 76. If my research is correct, this is his 6th straight year.

Sorry, my apology. Really didn't keep up w/the thread and since I started it regarding Kids World Championship I just assumed.

Article in the paper a few days ago about Preston Jansen winning the tourney this year. Very proud of this little Winchester boy.:thumb:

 

 

 

Little People's Golf championship

 

The Pepsi Little People’s Golf Championship featured 661 kids from all over the world.

 

Jansen’s age group, 6- and 7-year-olds, featured 49 kids from Georgia, California, Texas, Nevada, Mexico, Guatemala, and Canada to mention a few.

 

Jansen’s last 6 holes were played at 6 under par to come from behind to win.

 

Jansen’s winning round score of 27 breaks the 9-hole record for the tournament which is in it’s 35th year.
