I may be mistaken but I think there are quite a few schools that were new to full time fast pitch this season and as the season winds down I thought it be appropriate to see how those teams did... Anyone?

They did great. They will have a lot of fun next year.

Rose Hill Chirstian is currently 6-8.

Not sure of the records, but Dayton was 9-15 and Bellevue was 16-13. I think those two schools did a nice job.

I am not trying to knock Bellevue, but just looking at their schedule, 9 of their wins came against teams that weren't fulltime fastpitch. Not that 7 wins in the first year isn't an accomplishment, because it is, but that 16 is inflated...

Hats off to those first-year teams for dumping the sport that should best be left to guys who look like me.
