Anyone know the final/stats ect..

Per NKy.com

Newport Central Catholic 11, Boone County 5 : Johnny Pabst hit a grand slam in the fourth inning, his third home run of the season, to lead visiting NewCath, ranked No. 5 in the Enquirer Northern Kentucky coaches' poll. The senior catcher finished 4-for-4 with five RBI.

Boone and CovCath are to play Wednesday at 5pm, but with the rain???????

Anyone know the final/stats ect..

Jeramie Connor threw 6 strong innings. Lipscomb closed it out.

Boone shot themselves in the foot again. New Cath played a solid game. Boone gives up 5 unearned runs on 7 errors, leaves 10 men on base and gets 11 hits to only score 5 runs. Been the same old story to many times this year. Not what you want going into district play.

Mod can you update the tread title ? The score was not reported as should be. New Cath 11 Boone Co 5

Should make an intreresting District tourney this year.

Boone loses to NCC

Ryle loses to Grant Co.

Conner loses to Lloyd

CCH squeeks by Scott by 1.

Guess we'll see who really wants it.

OH....and St Henry BEATS the 9th Region favorite Bellevue.

Sounds like all the 33rd teams arn't play their best ball heading into districts, should be an interesting tourney.

This is the type of outing NCC is going to need from Connor if they want to make a run come tourney time.
