GRC 5 Bourbon Co 2

Featured Replies

Big district win for the Cards. Now how does the district stand...I know there was discussion that GRC need to win this game to geat a #1 seed.

#1 GRC

#2/3 Montgomery Co

#2/3 Bourbon Co.

#4 Paris

The pairings are set. The only thing left undecided(I think) is the 2 and 3 seeds between Montgomery and Bourbon.

Where is the 40th district tournament this year?

Bourbon, I think.

Interesting. They don't have lights do they?

No, but thats not a requirement to host a district tournament. They'll play one game each afternoon.

Any one know the 40th district schedule yet?

Montgomery is 2 and Bourbon is three. In the head to head Montgomery won by 4 the first game and only lost by 3 the second. Its really irrelevant though.

It was in the Winchester Sun the other day, let me see if I can find it.

The online wasn't working so I'll type out what is says in the paper from Wednesday.

Postseason Update

The 40th District Tournament will be played at Bourbon County beginning May 19. Clark will take on Paris, followed by No.2 seed Montgomery Co. and Bourbon Co. on May 20.

The finals are set for May 21.

In case of a rainout, a doubleheader will be held beginning at 2 p.m. on May 20.

The 10th Region Tournament was scheduled to be played at Scott High, but has been moved to Harrison County.

Thanks again and congrats on the 1 seed.

Why did it get moved to Harrison?

Why did it get moved to Harrison?

From my understanding, Scott High was supposed to host and their field is "not capable" of hosting. Since they are in the 37th district, it moved on down the line to the 38th district and Harrison Co. has the only field "capable" of hosting in that district.
