CovCath 8 Boyd County 0 in the Derby Classic, or only three more victories to get to that magic number of twenty, that Coach Krumps loves.

All I know about this game is that Nutini pitched and from the look of the score, he must have done a very good job on the mound last night.

CovCath is playing George Rogers Clark as I type and leads that game by a score of 1-0 in the 1st inning as Darner hits a double and Isler drives him home....

Wow. I can't imagine there were alot of baseballs games played throughout Kentucky yesterday.

CCH is most definitely on a roll these days and their pitching has stepped up to another level. Clearly the team to beat as of right now in the 9th.

cooperstown, do you mind if I print this post and frame it?

I guess it's safe to safe to say Helms didn't pitch for Boyd in this one.

By all means! I'll just end up having to recant anyways when Ryle finally turns things around and wins the region. :thumb:

Score was a bit of a surprise. What is going on at Boyd?

Cov Cath is on a roll. Maybe Boyd just played a hot team.

Boyd Started four freshman in the field in this one. Not sure who pitched, but Boyd has some players out hurt, and are trying to mesh again.
