Who is the best high school team in Kentucky History?

CCH had a team a couple years ago that won the most games in the state of KY, but I would rather know who is the best 1A team in state history.

Yes you obviously can...Because they did win that many games and were very overrated!

Baseball in Kentucky was very down that year.

How do you come to that conclusion?

The teams in Lexington and Louisville were very good that year.

Madison Central's 1982 team finished the season undefeated as state champs and I think so type of mythical national champs. The team was better than 40-0 although I do not the exact record....

Madison Central's team went 43-0 if I remember the sign in Madison Co. correctly. They had a pitcher, last name Cruse, that was practically unhittable at the high school level. I believe he may have gone undefeated for the last two or three years of high school. I remember they starting playing their games on the radio and talking about them being ranked number one in the nation. The sign claimed them to be undefeated state and national champions. That would have to be the best of all-time in my opinion.

They had the best shortstop in Kentucky that year, and the best Pitcher in Kentucky by the name of Rob Harmon. Not to mention the rest of the pitching staff was clearly dominant. Pitching was the core of this team and they were clearly not overrated they were the most solid ball club in Kentucky that year by far and could knock down many teams this year IMO.
