I Hate Physics and Biology

Featured Replies

I love science (teach chemistry, physics and astronomy) but I agree with the biology part...well, I don't hate it but I certainly don't like it!

I am that math/science person that someone mentioned earlier.

I hate school. I'm real good at it, but I have just lost all motivation, and I'm completely burnt out. I need summer break fast.

:thumb::thumb: Can't wait for school to be out so a lot more of :dancingpa will be going on and a lot less  in a classroom.

Math is my best subject. I'm in Trig right now and Calc. 1 next semester. I like science such as chemistry, anatomy, astronomy, zoology. But, I do not like Biology.

I can't wait for another 7 or 8 weeks when it's done until the fall semester.

My son will agree with you on the Physics part. It's the only subject he's struggled with at UE...straight A's in everything but Physics. He loves Anatomy, Physiology, and Biology. Thankfully, this semester is his last Physics requirement and the rest of the next 4 years looks pretty tame comparitively.

I personally struggled with higher math classes. I'd wind up with a B, but I sure had to put a ton of work into them. Sciences weren't so tough, but took work. Foreign language might have been a struggle, but I found it so much fun I didn't notice. English classes and any classes that involved a lot of research and writing were a breeze for me. Something I hated but did well in was History. I didn't mind the research papers, but I hated the rote memorization of historical facts. I much preferred Sociology classes and Philosophy classes where I felt the real "depth" of the subjects were explored. And, lastly, the only class I ever failed in my entire life-Basic Public Speaking. :creepy: I can write a killer speech...but I can't seem to deliver one to save my life. Just as well I never pursued a career in Politics.

I struggled with Biology and Physics during my third sophomore year

I took it last semester, and the first speech I had to give was a little rough. It seemed like my voice was everywhere. But, after that I got a little used to it, but was still nervous eveytime I got up there.

The reason I started this thread, was because my first grade in Physics 4th quarter was a 32 on a test. I have had trouble maintaining a B in biology, but I spend 30 minutes at least a night studying each of these subjects.
