Holmes 40 CovCath 35 end of third quarter

As good of a bball player the young man looks to you, he is even a better Baseball player.

 

You don't play for Midland's senior team as a Sophomore/Junior to be for nothing. I knew that he's one of the top 2 baseball players in the area. I didn't know that he had such range though.

Holmes is outhustling CovCath. CovCath is yet to match Holmes intensity on the boards or defense.

Cool Hand Luke made a great jumper, then J Johnson took it right back down the floor and made an uncontested layup. Turnover CovCath and foul on the break away. Avery made a bucket off the inbounds play. Turnover CovCath again, however saved by a questionable foul call. Hit the front end of one and one.

He makes the second and it is now H 50 CC 44 2:25 left

R. Johnson shooting two on a very questionable call. Looked like Grimes got it clean. Hits first, misses 2nd. Holmes gets the rebound, puts up a shot and misses. J Johnson, in traffic, follows w/ a dunk off the rebound.

The Johnson brothers have a very bright future ahead of them...
