Hey guys lets give Thack and the boys some credit, looks like the boys played a modified 2-3 zone for 2 and a half periods that WC did not figure out. The big men off the bench defended really well. Looks like Thacker did the out coaching tonight against the permier coach of the 12th region. Good job guys and good luck Monday.

Thacker loses the 47th District Championship game and you people are ready to fire him, he wins a game in the 12th Region and you want to crown him king. Would you all make up your mind as to what you all want to do with him?

If you go back and read the thread most of the people questioning whether or not he should be back were not Somerset fans. Southern Sports Fan was the one that wondered whether he'd be looking for another job. Most of the Somerset fans were disappointed in the teams effort but not ready to get rid of the coach. As for realfanreturns, who you quoted in your post, that was his first post so he didn't even comment on the PC game. If you go back and read everything I think you'll see the majority of Somerset fans were supportive of Thacker the whole time.

Great Job Coach Thacker. It will be Somerset and Lincoln in the Finals. Anything can happen in the finals. GO JUMPERS. If Rock cannot go to state I need our District to pull us through and Lincoln better not look past the PC Maroons who are playing well!!

Hey Warrior I agree with Average Joe, most of the material posted was not negative. There are a few out there who are Thacker Bashers, but the majority are Thacker BACKERS. No question this guy can coach. Only one Coach in the 12 region has a better record during his 9 years, and thats the Dean over there at WC. Warrior you can't pay attention to those bashers, most of whom don't have a clue, and couldn't spell Coach.

Let go JUMPERS and JUMPER FANS, we have a date monday night with West.

Congrats to Shawn for getting the monkey off of his back. Good luck to my alma mater on Monday Night.

Guys everybody knows it's what have you done for me lately. Greatest coach ever one day, and couldnt coach his way out of a wet paper bag the next. Good job Jumpers and good luck in the region semi finals.

Yes but the fact is his team beat the hottest team in the 12th Region. Yes Lincoln is the Best team in the 12th but Wayne was the hottest. How many people really picked this--I didn't. I'm betting you didn't either--we can look it up.

You know this is the most parity I have seen in the 12th Region in many years. Anyone can end up going to Rupp this year, if the right team gets hot on the right night. Year end and year out that is not the case. It usually boils down to the team with the most talented top seven from top to bottom. This year is a different story all four teams have a shot. Good luck to all four, just wishing a little more luck for those jumpers to survive this crazy year, I am sure no one expected McCreary and Wayne to be buying tickets at this time.

Did Wayne come into the tournament hotter that Lincoln who had won 17 of 19? They had certainly been playing well and had some impressive wins but they were not on the run that Lincoln has been.

I will stay away from the Hoop-la and just say two things:

1. Good job Somerset, hard fought win that was well deserved.

2. Congrats on a fine season by Wayne County, don't hang your heads. Just come out next season hungry for a Regional Championship.
