Will it be just coaches from the represented teams there along with 9th region officials? Or does the Conner administration do the draw and contact the teams?

I think the CovCath Internet team is going to try and do the draw live on the Internet if all the teams agree to it and it's not against the KHSAA rules. If they can pull it off, that would be something to listen to!

Especially Holmes!

 

Holmes is going to have to beat one of them to get out of region anyways so really I don't think it matters whether they meet Highlands in the semis or finals.

 

They are the only team of the 3 who has the depth to beat both Highlands and CCH on consecutive nights. Ryan Ernst made an interesting point in his blog tonight.

 

"Holmes played 11 players in the first half to Covcath's 7."

My understanding is that every school in each region is invited to the draw for their region, they do not have to be one of the 8 teams that will be playing in the regional tournament.

I was hoping you weren't going to try and bring up last night's officiating because if anything it was horrible on both sides. Both teams had a lot of questionable calls against them and calls that weren't made. But that is a debate for another thread.

 

What are your predictions for the brackets and how they'll play out?
