Warren Central will not be at Rupp for the first time in 7 years

I would just like to congratulate and recognize Tim Riley and the Dragons for their streak of six years winning the region tournament. They were elimated in the district this year and will not be at Rupp. But looking back what an accomplishment! The run also included one title in 2004.

As a Dragon fan, I appreciate you taking the time to recognize them. I'm sure it garners little sympathy from those whose team has not enjoyed the success Central has recently, but this year has been really hard to swallow and it is quite sad to know that I won't be making the trip to Rupp this year. The annual pilgrimage has been quite a joy, and I'm hoping they pick it up again next year.

Don't fret over missing out this season. Warren Central has had a remarkable run and they always played with class when at Rupp. I'm sure it will be only a matter of time before Coach Riley graces the Rupp Arena sidelines again.
