Subs were in at that point more than they have been in the recent past. Keller Menke was brought back in, I'm assuming because she's a sophomore and she'll be leading the younger girls next season. The seniors were pretty well out by that point.

 

Chambers did not come out of the game until there was a minute and some odd seconds left on the clock. Cline came out about one minute before her. Bracken had already put in subs. And, I must say...when Bracken lost by 40, the same thing happpened--yes...maybe a little worse the first game, but there's still no reason for it. That's my point. Why have a college bound player in so late in that game and risk injury to her? It makes no sense.

I was at the game and me (along with MANY PEOPLE around me) could not figure out why in the world Chambers was coming back into the game with three minutes left???? The game was OVER! The only thing left was a chance for her to get hurt and ruin any chance Mason had to win Regionals. With one minute and a few seconds left, she was pulled out! CRAZY! All that does is make people upset, but most importantly, give her an opportunity to get hurt!

Bluespector, for you to say that Chambers was on the floor with a minute and some left is totally false. There were other subs in the game at the time in the final 3 minutes of that ballgame. Chances are from others talk it was from BC fans. I thought the game was a great high school and 39th district game and both teams need to be commended. BC girls played their hearts out, coaching staff came with a excellent game plan and need to be commended. Fans will be fans, for this talk, can't commend much here. I have had several bad tastes in my mouth over the past, for this cure I keep a bottle of mouthwash or a toothbrush and paste on hand:thumb:

It is not false and I wish I had access to a tape so I could prove it; she was still in the game with less than two minutes left in the game. I'm not anti-Royal, I'm just voicing my opinion on an observation. Sure, BC and MC girls both worked hard...that has nothing to do with the fact that Chambers was still in the game in the last minutes. Can't really commend much to that either.
