2008 North Bullit

Featured Replies

What does North Bullit need to do to improve in 2008? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.

North returns Dalton Cissell at RB. Dalton will enter his senior season as the 28th rusher in Kentucky history with 5,038 yds. North will also return 1st Team All-District QB Jordan Mayberry who combined for 1,300 yds passing / running combined. North's line will be anchored by senior Tackle Zack Perkins 6'5" 285 lbs. North will also return center Ivan Tischendorf 6'3" 275 lbs as well as 2 other part-time starters up front.

BTW -- Its North Bullitt with 2 T's.

I saw the game last year when they played Lafayette. I wasn't that impressed by Cissell. Did he have a bad game or does he just beat up on lesser competition?

Cissell is a strong back and North Bullitt sure got better at the time they needed to. Time and again, I have seen a report of Cissell running a 4.5 at the Cincinnati Combine, but having seen him in several games, he is not a speedy guy in pads. He is tough to tackle, no doubt. His durability is a question, though he seems to find a way to get a lot of carries and a lot of yards. At 5'9, he's hardly a beast, size wise. But on the other hand, he seems to lift anything that he can get his hands on.

North Bullitt should be the favorite to win their district. They may be better now that Reynolds and his drama has moved on.

Lafayette had a very good front 7 and some real men at LBer. Cissell had his worst game of the year. You may see more of him than you want in this years rematch.
