East is definetly not #2 in the region. Just lost by almost 20 to Raceland. But they're a good solid team with a nice win tonight. Congrats East on a 20 victory season.

 

I don't think East is # 2 in the region either. I think they are # 3. I not sure anyone can beat Elliott Co. and Rose Hill, it will be decided between those two IMO. But I would love to see East catch them on a bad night then anything could happen especially come tourney time. Congrats to East on a very good win over a good Fairview team.

If East plays like they are capable they can beat anyone in the region. As far as Elliott they are not unbeatable but they are by far the best team in the region. Rose Hill is just another good team that can be beat on any given night as they are far from unbeatable. They caught Elliott on a terrible night. If Elliott shot 35% from the floor that game they beat them by 20.

I agree with you Racer. I think Elliott and Rose Hill are a notch above the rest, but certainly East has a team that could knock one of them off. I believe that if the draw is right then East, Bath, or maybe Raceland (who is hot right now) will have a chance to make big noise at the Regional.

Assuming those 3 teams get to the regional tournament. They are all fine ball clubs, but anything can happen in the post season!!!! West, Menifee and Lewis may take umbrage to you placing East, Bath and Raceland in the tourney already.

 

With that said, East has a very good team. They played very well against Fairiview and then beat Fleming Co Saturday night very handily. It will be fun to see them take on Bath Co Tuesday night and then the district opener vs. West Carter. Games that they are capable of winning for sure, but are not locks by any stretch of the imagination.
