I like Jim's idea and agree with most of what has been said.....I think the English mass is more relevant because everyone can participate, but I would love it if parish's start using the Latin mass more often because it just seems more reverent, and especially on special occasions. I think every young Catholic should experience (and be able to participate in) a Latin mass. Reading this thread, I almost feel deprived because I haven't :lol:

We had a full Latin mass at my church last year and it was wonderful. Of course I didn't understand a word that was being said but that didn't seem to matter. I was just so enchanted with everything they did and said. I was told that in a Latin mass the priest speaks with his bad turned toward you but this priest seemed to be speaking "sideways". If I am correct, and sometimes I am, there is a chuch in Lexington that has only Latin masses.
