BGP Boy's Rankings

Can someone tell me where the rankings on here come from? Are they done by the BGP Admin? I'm not criticizing them, just wondering where they come from. Thanks

The BGP Rankings are done by people from across the state. They may or may not be members of BGP.

Is it like a random poll, or like a survey that is sent out or what?:confused:

There is no survey sent out. Each person involved with the poll would submit their vote for the top twenty teams. Then they are tallied. If there are any ties then each member will give their reason for voting for a certain team to be in a certain position.

You are correct. It is just like a committee. It doesn't go just on votes alone. After the polls are turned in then there is a debate on whether a team belongs or not. That is how the final poll is determined

nWo is correct. BGP is not a pure vote. BGP is a vote and defend your position against other voters. We don't tally votes unless we come to an impasse and that is rare.

When you first get to BGP, like the main page with pics and all, go to basketball, and click "Boy's Rankings", instead of "Boy's Forum"
