NCC goes on 17-4 run in third quarter break open a close 20-17 game at halftime.

 

The second half was a simple case of too much Dustin Geisler, the beneficiary of numerous drive/dish baskets, versus our foul plagued forwards Stortz and Rieger.

 

Geisler finishes the night with 20 points, Michael Libscomp gets 9 to pace the Breds. Jacob Rieger countered for Brossart with 14 on the night, with 13 of those coming in the first half.

Newport Catholic was just too strong for the Mustangs. Very physical game and the Breds proved to be the best team on the floor. Good team performance for NC. Geisler may have put up 20 on the board but many of them were off of dishes from guard. New offense seems to be working
