I see where they have electric ones. Do they need vented?

 

Nope! Never thought of that, but my guess it might be expensive to run?

 

I don't see how they would be anywhere near as effective/efficient as a gas fired one. But I could be wrong.:idunno:

These are great if you need the space that a tank type heater takes up. They are small and can hang on a wall, leaving your floor space open. The downside I see is the endless hot water. My wife and daughters already take showers until they run out of hot water. What the heck do women do for that long in the shower?!!! I'd never get into the bathroom!
