Pineville trailed 53-51 going into the 4th quarter.

I am just going by scores of late but Williamsburg looks like they might have an upset in them. Whoever plays them in district better watch out. However, tonights score might be a product of Pineville having a win taken away from them at Corbin last night.

Pineville has a fine team and a great Coach. The got beat at Corbin fair and square.....Wymt showed you enough proof....you might want to move on or LC might beat the Lions again in the district.

Pineville DID NOT have a win taken away from them in Corbin. The Mountain Lions got beat fair and square. Watch WYMT and the proof is in the pudding.

Let's not forget Williamsburg played the night before and lost a overtime thriller to Jellico, who is a big rival for da Burg.

I agree with Bubba. You might want to move on or the Campers will win in the district.

Why is it a team or their fans can't just say "hey, the other team was better than us tonight"?

 

Pineville has a good team and a good coach and they are very fun to watch. Same for Corbin. Corbin beat Pineville and that is the bottom line. The shot was after the (very smart play) foul by Cashen. If Strange misses that shot then the ref's are Pineville's heroes for giving them another shot.

 

Williamsburg just lost to Jellico, TN last night. (one of the 4 teams they have actually beaten this year). The Yellow Jackets shouldn't have even been in the game at half time, but they were leading Pineville in the fourth quarter. Doesn't say much for Pineville's postseason chances to me. I think they may have peaked to early and are starting to decline. Williamsburg will play either South or Corbin in the first round of the district....not a snowball's chance of an upset this year.

I dont know I watched the video and I could not tell, it just seemed way to close to call. But it seems like if the foul was planned that it should have been called an intental foul. Also I wouldnt say that Corbin is the better team because after all they only won by 2 on their homecourt and we all know that Corbin gets some very good calls on their homecourt.

I thought that this was a Williamsburg/Pineville thread not a Corbin/Pineville thread. The game is over. Sounds like both teams gave it their all. Move on and get ready for the next game.

Whatever ... so anytime a team fouls when they're behind, they should be caleld for an intentional foul? Man, that's some funny stuff right there. As for Corbin getting calls at home ... Pineville had more foul shot attempts than Corbin.

All I know Les is I watched the video on wymt and I could not honestly tell. I wasnt there I dont know how the game was called I just know that Corbin "usually" gets their way on their homecourt.

Well Im back to eat my words, I rewatched the video just then and I do think he was fouled before the shot. I can see where Pineville would be upset but it looks like Corbin just came up with a great plan.

Saw Pineville in the All-A last week. Very good team.

I expected a wild fire from all the Corbin supporters and I was right. I have moved on and so has the Mountain Lions. They have a big match up with a struggling Knox Central team this week. Should be another great one.

Corbin better hope Lynn Camp wins district and Pineville doesn't make it to play them in region. Pineville will have a chip on their shoulder and they won't need a half court shot to win.
