Any idea what his YTD averages are?

26.1 PPG 11.6 RPG

Holy Cross led by about 8-12 all game long. The largest lead I believe was 16, but Beechwood cut it down to 6 with the ball midway through the 4th. Beechwood had plenty of opportunities late in the 4th to make it a one possession game, but could not put the ball in the bucket. Sorrell was the man tonight as he took the ball strong to the hole each time he touched it. Beuttel kept the Tigers in the game in the 2nd half. Giwa was in foul trouble and the Holy Cross offense was nonexistent with the exception of Sorrell who finished with 37 of the Indians 67 points. Hall and Romas struggled for Beechwood.

What a district tournament this will be. (Just like every year) Pretty solid district.

What is the deal with the host site of the 35th District? The KHSAA web site has the games being played at Beechwood as does the Cov. Cath web site. Now the games are to be played at Holmes. Granted, Beechwood's gym is small, but given the strength of Beechwood's team this year and the potential to pull off an upset (or 2), why would they pass on the opportunity to play the Districts at home? (especially considering that, until their loss to Holy Cross, Beechwood could have had Cov. Cath. on their home Court as the round 1 opponent) Holy Cross has a relatively small gym but takes their turn hosting the District and does a great job. Does anyone know the scoop?
