Wow...what a close game. Really thought Holmes would win by more!

Campbell is a lot better than people think. They just need that one signature win to let people know they're for real. They will have plenty of chances in their upcoming games as they play Boone, CovCath, Conner and SK

CC does play very good D. :thumb:

Good win for Holmes. Keep it up.

I still think that Holmes is the class of the 9th; defense allows less than 46 ppg. However, the fact that this game was so close makes me wonder just a little bit. I know you can't get a lot from comparing scores against common opponents, but Mason County did hang 80 against the Camels and that was with liberal substitutions and calling off the press relatively early.

If this was one of those games where Holmes was up 20 and CC got back in it against the Holmes 2nd and 3rd teams, well, that's another story.

It seems since missing those free throws against Mason Co. Nerl has absolutely exploded. Always a good shooter , the last three games he's been great. He had to have at least thirty in a row from the foul line. Talk about nailing the threes.I don't know if he kicked up the practice time or what but whatever he's done I hope he keeps it up . Hang on Camel fans Stewie thinks Pat is just getting started. Lets not forget Parks. His ball handling improved greatly in this game and added eight points. Thats sixteen in the last two games for our point guard. If the Camels continue to play like this they will finish way above five hundred.

Not the case at all....in fact CC was ahead most if not half of the game. At the end of one is was CC 11-Holmes 6; Half it was CC 25-Holmes 24; end of three it was CC 38-Holmes 40 and with around 4 min to go it was tied. Official called a fourth foul on Nerl (25) but he was no where near the play it was a foul on either 21 or 4 and he immediatately fouled again taking him out of the game. With Petey Albrecht with 4 and Nerl fouled out the Camels could not buy a FT down the stretch missing 6 straight.

Have not seen the Dawgs play in 3 games, nice to see them win. It don't matter if it was 8 or 80 the Bulldogs are going a long way again.

36 to be exact ;)

I watched Holmes play in the Sweet 16 last season. They quickly became my favorite team to watch in the tourney because of the Man "D" they play.

36 to be exact ;)

Are you saying that he was 36-36 in the last three games? I think he was 20-20 still good but not 36.

I don't know if it was 36-36 in the last 3 but I know he made 36 straight. May have gone back as far as 5 games not positive though.

I just checked and it was 36-36 until a miss last night. Started at Pendleton on the 11th.
