Deke Barley came through big time. Huge win for Corbin. Congrats to Coach P and his Hounds.

Hard fought game by both teams. Jackson Co. went 10 for 20 from the FT line.

Corbin led by 12 going into the fourth quarter. Shot 2-of-12 from the floor and 4-of-8 from the charity stripe in the final eight minutes, but showed a heart of a lion and pulled out the win.

The Redhound players could have folded the tent after seeing their lead evaporate, but Barley's alst second heave found the mark.

Brumback led all scorers with 25, while Corbin had four players in double figures, Josh Smith led the way with 15 points.

Corbin only had one turnover in the first have and four going into the fourth quarter.

Great game by both teams.

Games like tell me the 13th region tourney will be fun to watch this year, much like last years. Did Josh Crawford play? What type of game did Madison Johnson have? After this year it may be a long time before Jackson Co. can play the Hounds this close.

I have to admit, this one was much closer than I thought it would be. Congrats to Corbin for the win, and to Jackson County on a good effort. I bet it was a physical one!

It looked as though Corbin was going to pull out to a safe margin going into the 4th quarter, but Jackson fought back to make it a nail-biter.

 

Corbin hurt themselves at the FT line again and Jackson Co. shoots too many 3's considering they have Brumback in the paint, something both need to improve on to win a regional title.

Josh Smith led the way with 15 and really played a great game along with Manns, and Barley.

Wilson handled the pressure the entire night and I also liked the minutes that Hendrickson gave.

I like the little things Hendrickson does as well, IMO he would start for most of the teams in the 13th, a good player.

Hendrickson has good size. And, seems like a good kid.

What sets Corbin apart from other teams is its depth.

The Redhounds have a lot of it.

Hounds could have put it away sooner by cashing in on some late free throws. I suspect free throws will be Corbin's waterloo come tourney time.

I think Corbin could of put this one away with the free throws, but they let Jackson County stay in this one.

Bottom line, is a win is a win and it was on the road and that's an even bigger win.
