What's the latest with NDA and their younger classes? I remember reading something on here a while ago about juniors not being allowed to play JV. I assumed that they must have had some pretty good younger players coming up .

 

How has the season gone for the junior varsity and the freshman team? Have they done pretty well?

No one? I did see in the NKY freshman thread that the Highlands girls team beat NDA 41 - 10. A Bluebird parent I checked with today told me that the Birds JV won by a lot as well.

 

Maybe that was a fluke???

NDA JV is very competitive. Lost to Boone at the buzzer and got killed at Highlands. NDA JV has won most of the rest of their games playing with 4 sophs and 4 freshman.

 

The Highlands JV team is very good and NDA played with just 6 due to illness issues. Had NDA been at full strength the Highlands team would still win, IMO. Highlands had a girl play JV who hit 4 or 5 threes for the varsity that night and who has always been a very talented varsity level player. (Horner)

 

NDA Freshman team I haven't seen play much but I know they have sent their big girls to the JV so it has not been easy.
