Did Vanderhoof play? Just curious about her status......

WOW! I saw HSJ play West Carter early, and wasn't that impressed. They must have really improved!

I didn't see this one coming, at least not at this margin of victory. Tough loss.

I hope that the Lady Rams can get back on track and I am confident that Coach Trimble will have them back and playing well.

St Joe is a good team. They are currently 10 - 1 with their lone loss being 2 points to Parkersburg, WV Catholic. According to Max Preps they are currently rated #18 in the state of WV regardless of class. This loss is not that shocking especially if Raceland is without Vanderhoof. I'm sure this would have been a much better game had she played. St Joe has a few more area schools on their schedule. It would not be a huge shock if they win all of them.

Vanderhoof did not play, and she was missed badly. Raceland just looked lost, they could not get any offense going. HSJ is a solid team, and a win for Raceland would have been difficult with Vanderhoof, but I am confident that the margin would have at least been much closer with her in the game.

 

Raceland is such a young team, and last night they played young. HSJ just played more like a veteran team. I do not know what grade level their players are in, but they just played more like a mature team and out played Raceland.
