Hamilton Joe Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 A very nice article in the Monday Enquirer with regards to Ludlows Michelle Landrum. I always enjoy reading various stories from all schools about kids who have had to overcome a great many obstacles and still are able to achieve recognition not only athletically but academically as well. In the case of this young lady it appears she has done just that and should be commended for her hardwork on the floor and in the classroom. I don;t get to see Ludlow play very often but I did see her play last year in the Class A Tourney and she impressed me with her speed and most of all her 3 point shooting. I hope to get to see the Panthers and Ms Landrum play again in the Class A. Landrum gives her coach Aaron Stamm a great deal of credit for giving her the confidence to play at the high school level and it was obvious she has a great deal of respect for him. Coach Stamm I am told works hard and cares about the total student/athlete and that is very evident judging by Ms Landrums comments. I have talked to many that say the girls love to play for Coach Stamm and he is to be commended for making a positive difference in not only this example but apparently with all his players. His wins and loses speak for themself but he obviously knows there is more to coaching then wins and loses and Xs and Os. He sets a positive example from what I have heard. Congrats to Michelle Landrum and good luck in the future with whatever you choose to do. I have no doubt you will be successful.
