Josh Seidel came up big again.

25 points, 9-of-9 from the line (23-of-24 past two games), five assists, six boards and 10 steals.

Coming into tonight Siedel was 55% from behind the arc and 89% from the line. This kid is the real deal.

And he wasn't even in the top 10 in one publication.

Now that's funny, which one was it?

I don't know what kind of publication could leave him out. I mean if you are a sports writer or follow sports and you have ever seen the kid play then it is OBVIOUS he has the tools and deserves the praise.

I remember last year he was a shooter like not many others. His defense is good. He is long and lenghty and faster than he appears. His shooting is pure deadly at times. Even when he is off he is better than most shooters.

Beyond me how ANYONE could have left him out! I guess he is making a statement.

Good to see North have some success after the train wreak of a ending season they had last year. Glad they stayed the course with the coach for this year. Siedel has a funny looking shot to me for such a good shooter, as long a it goes in is all that matters though.

Jaguars are playing good basketball right now.

Well, all wrong-handers have funny-looking shots anyway.

Seriously though, Seidel is a great kid -- preacher's boy, very well-mannered, thoughtful and respectful, but just a hardcore, fiery competitor. A deceptively good rebounder too. Fun to watch.

He's really improving defensively, too.

Only a Junior and add him with Crawford and Miller and the 13th Region has a nice Senior class to start with next season.

Miller is just a sophomore right dawg?

Yikes, that is right. Man, he is going to be good.
