Final.

UofL Recruit Noel Johnson goes for 46.

Looks like he is averaging right around 27 a game, his team is now 8-4 on the year. He has already had games of:

42,39,31 and now 46. I guess he is pretty good.

To do it against one of the better teams in Kentucky is even more impressive.

Big win over a Top KY Team! The Fayette County (Georgia) team has some Kentucky connections I believe, I think their head coach played at Woodford and Transy...could be wrong, can someone help me with a name?

You would be correct. :thumb:

One of Transylvania's best players is in position to help Kentucky's recruiting efforts.

Andre Flynn, whose 1,670 points rank eighth on Transy's career list, is a high school coach in Fayetteville, Ga. One of his players, wing Noel Johnson, is regarded as one of the nation's top 30 players in the high school class of 2009.

Although Connecticut is presumed to be the leader based on a long-established recruiting interest, Flynn discouraged that speculation.

"I don't think anybody has a leg up," the former Transy star said. "He's open. He listens to everybody coming his way. I talk to him about Kentucky and Louisville because that's where I'm from. He says, 'OK.'"

Flynn grew up in Lexington, then played for Woodford County when his family moved to Versailles. He played for Don Lane at Transy, where he was named an NAIA District 32 All-American.

You are correct. The coach did play at Woodford.

Fayette is legit. Noel Johnson without a doubt is a top 10 player nationwide in the '09 class. Fayette is the favors to win the KOB and they have a PG that looks and plays like Jameer Nelson. Johnson will be making a visit to UL tomorrow.
