Can someone give us a summary of the Shelby Valley team and how they are doing so far this season?

They are definitely for real, but took a huge blow in the championship game of J'towns tourney this past weekend. Against J'town they only lost by 5 but the bigger loss is losing one of the super sophs & 2 year starter in 6'4" Taylor Newsome to a knee injury. An ACL tear is what i am hearing and may be done for the year.

Basketball IQ is outstanding and E. Justice is as good a PG as there is in the state.

 

 

Only concern I have for them is lack of low post size, as the gaurds are all good size but no low post threat.

 

I watched E. Justice play last year in Corbin's tournament and love the way he plays. Shelby Valley could make a good run at the state tourney if they get the right draw, although they are very young.
