December 28, 200718 yr I also heard that if Ted Ginn would not have hurt his leg last year the outcome would have been different. As bad as I hate the SEC I will be rooting for them! This Tressell is all class stuff cracks me up! Remember it is the same fan base who idolize a coach that hit an opposing player and just shrug it off as no big deal. I don't think any true OSU fan (or any college football fan) is proud of that moment and I seriously doubt that a true fan would shrug it off (as you say) "as no big deal". I know that I certainly do not. Including all Buckeye fans in your statement as you have done is not a fair assessment to the fans that do not fit into the category that you have placed them in.

December 28, 200718 yr Remember it is the same fan base who idolize a coach that hit an opposing player and just shrug it off as no big deal. I personally don't have any idols, however I do admire the man. He did more for his University, and his players than most of those who coached the game. He did make a terrible mistake and I hate that it happened, because that is the one thing people want to remember. Good Post, I am certainly not proud of that moment (Woody hitting an opposing player), I don't think that any OSU fan is. BuckNut you have once again made some very good points in all the good that Woody Haye's did for the Ohio State University. No one likes what he did and sadly you are right in that is the first thing that most will remember. I will rememeber the man, the coach and all the good that he brought to college football and to his players in developing them as men as well as football players.
December 28, 200718 yr Well, I heard that Tressell heard that there might have been someone who had a cousin who was an equipment manager back in the '60s that listened to a Bob Dylan album while smoking something that was neither black nor mild. What a classless individual. I guess the "truth" will come out when they have to pee in a cup! Oh wait, that's not all.......... I heard that Tressell controls all the drug tests by having surrogate "pee people" so that none of his players will ever fail a drug test. Also, he has used up all of his carbon credits and that Al Gore will be in New Orleans with a half dozen protesters asking that the coach be removed of his duties and that Ohio State should have to return their 2002 National Championship trophy and donate all of his salary to help fight global warming. :thumb::laugh::laugh::laugh:
