Lincoln County 55 West Jessamine 49

Final per Riherd's.

I didn't see a thread; any comments?

Lincoln shot 30% for the game and had only 6 assists. Keeton and Spurlin had 14 and Young had 18. Lincoln really needs to work on their half court offense, alot of standing around watching people go one on one.

If this was at Lincoln, this will be a really tough region. West beats McCreary by four at home, but loses by 6 at Lincoln. This is really a tough region.

Surpising as I thought Lincoln would handle them a lot easier than this. Maybe Lincoln's late run during football has something to do with this.

Maybe West is not as bad as everyone thinks> ? They do seem to get going after Christmas much like last year- pretty sure they are inexperienced as well. I would have to put them in the mix when it is all said and done.

tough region to say the least- better come to play everynight or you will lose.

I would say up to 7-8 teams have a legit shot at going to Rupp.

I think the Pats have to be the favorite to repeat. The improvement of Spurlin is the difference. 4 of LC's main players have only been with the team for 10 practices or so, and they are still off to a fast start.

Their only loss was to a very good Bryan Station squad, and that was a close game. When Young, Keeton, Gilbert and Owsley round into shape they are goin got be hard to handle.
