Does anyone have pics of the new complex at Letcher? I have heard they are unreal. Jumbotron??

Letcher Co's field is awesome.:ylsuper: Ranks right up there with Belfry's. Yes they do have a jumbotron. The crowd is really nice and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. From what I could see the gymnasium wasn't anything to sneeze at either!

Come on guys, hard to believe nobody has access to any pics of this new facility???

I don't have pictures, but can attest it is a very top notch facility, but I also have both very high accolades and sharp criticisms.

 

Positives:

-Beautiful facility, the turf is awesome, the bleachers are primarily chair back.

 

-The setting is excellent for the most part as you seem to be cut into a mountain and it is very intimate.

 

-They have a daggone jumbotron for crying out loud!

 

-Great accoustics

 

CRITICISMS

- No seperate visitor seating, and although the home-side is spacious, the stadium really doesn't seem to seat a whole lot.

 

- It gives me clostrophobia, everything seems very crammed into a small space.

 

-Only one way in, and one way out, which can cause backups with potentially large crowd drawing games.

Where did the money come from to pay for all the improvements? The same for Johnson Central.
