Girdy for Carroll Co. and Grey from Shelby Co lead their respective teams with 16 points each. Shelby won the battle on the boards and put the game away in the 4th quarter. Carroll led 30-29 at the half but just got outmustled in the fourth period. Carroll will be tough to handle when they learn to crash the boards better. Hanna Devine (8th grader) is going to be a star.

Carroll played a great 1st half, but came out a little flat in the 3rd quarter and Shelby took great advantage.

 

Congrats to Shelby..keep working Carroll you continue improve and will surprise a lot of people this year.

Wasn't far off of my prediction of 15+. Good game Carroll from your border.

Very true...they report fairly and consistently.

Carroll played very well in the first half. I thought that they would pull it out but Shelby started executing and playing much better the second half. Carroll showed alot last night. They can be very good by the seasons end! They are an exciting team to watch! :thumb:

I have to agree. These girls don't understand yet how good they can be.
