This will be Highland's first game of year. I believe Holy Cross has already played twice if not three times. Highlands beat them by 14 last year at Holy Cross. I believe Highlands has their top players coming back, what's the status with Holy Cross?

This ought to be a very entertaining game and one that I plan on attending. HC has Bibbins, Lantry, Noll and Howard and they have all been together now a couple of years and will give most teams fits this year. Lantry is a very nice ball handler and floor leader and Bibbins likes to take the ball to the hole. Both are small in stature but are very aggressive and fiesty. Both are Fun to watch. Noll has the ability to be a Top 5 Player in the region if and when she wants to be. She can both shoot from the outside and penetrate although sometimes she wants to shoot alittle to much from the outside (which as a coach I would let her do) instead of going to the hole more. Howard is the player that would concern me as she is a very strong force underneath and in my opinion is the best player on the HC team.

With those things said I know that Highlands is still very young but got a lot of experience playing together in the District and Regional tournaments in some very big games. They seem to have a very nice mix of inside and outside players that compliment each other well. They are young but exciting to watch and well coached.

I will take Highlands in a close game unless HC pounds the ball inside to Howard and Noll is able to get penetration. Good luck to both teams..

If I hadn't of seen it with my own eyes I would never have believed this score. HHS is a very good team and will be a force this year in the 9th Region but I just don't think they are 31 points better HC. Great job Birds!!

HHS is a pretty good team... Although you are right the 9th is down... really no team from the 9th can ever challenge those teams from lexington and louisville... I think that you will see alot of blowouts in the 9th this year because there are probally 4 or 5 good teams and the rest is just real bad

I like the 9th region and have been very impressed with many of their teams. They work hard and have some very good coaches.

Congrats HHS on a good win. I am surprised at this because Holy Cross was very solid in a scrimmage this year.
