If the purpose to eliminate smoking, then raise the taxes on it and make it $7.50 a pack and put a huge financial price on it with insurance costs. You hit people hard in the wallet and they would quit. THAT would do more to eliminate than any ban.

Does this help gambling addicts? Crack addicts? I know when I started dipping, Kodiak was $2.12 a can, now it's close to $5 a can. Nicotene is a horrible addiction, I don't chew but once a day, but stopping that one time a day habit will be a tough thing once I decide. I know people that chew 5-10 times a day, and smoke 1 to 2 packs a day, I seriously don't think raising the price will do anything to stop their use. It's all up to the person.
