He absolutely does. I would find it very hard to believe that he would downplay any team. He is a class act. :thumb:

First of all we don't even play St. Pats until January 17th and much more water will have flowed under the bridge by then.

 

IMO, St. Henry was stinging from taking a loss on Tuesday (any loss to any team for that matter would have had the same effect) and came in here hungry tonight and played like a team on a mission.

 

Obviously if St. Pat beat St. Henry, who then in turn wallops Brossart, it is obvious that they must have a fine ball club - that went without saying.

 

I was strictly talking about mental attitudes. I think (hope) that we are a much better team than we showed tonight. I think that we may have been somewhat complacent after beating up on Silver Grove on Tuesday night. I think the combination of our win over SG and St. Henry's loss at St. Patrick may have contributed to our demise tonight. I elaborated by saying that I hoped that St. Pat's might adopt a similar attitude when seeing that St. Henry dismantled us and might become a little cocky themselves - putting us in a positon to return the favor.

 

Sheer speculation!!! I don't know where that comes off as dissing St. Pats. I go way, way, back with the Saints and have the utmost respect for their program. They, like us, are a small school trying to compete with big brother next door and this year have a big chance at making the trip to Richmond. But I still contend that they will have to beat the Mustangs in order to get their ticket punched.

 

I don't sit and evaluate every statement I make. I'm in the Brossart business and talk from a Brossart prospective. Sorry if I offended you, but don't hate us for one lousy piece of broadcast babble about some future-state scenerio from some amateur trying to make sense of a 17 point loss.

I know your job is not to downplay any schools I guess it wasnt what you were doing I just think you were a "tad" frustrated and a little of that showed I really shouldnt have said I probaly wouldnt toon in to your broadcast anymore that was wrong and I apologize.
