Final.

I don't have any info from this one other than the final from te KHSAA website.

Congrats to the West C. Girls.

The Lady Rams fall to 1-1 and will play Elliot Co. @ West Carter on Saturday afternoon. Let get it back on track Saturday Lady Rams!!

It was a good ballgame Raceland came out slow and it got a little better for them playing the second game of the season. R. Vanderhoof had a good game I dont know for sure but I say she had at least 25pts. and 7-10 rebounds tonight. They are missing the Keeton girl right now when she returns it will help alot. That should be in about 2 weeks if things go right, but they might have lost another player for the year with a knee injury it was (Clarke) hope I spelled it right if not sorry about it do not know her first name (sorry)but thoughts and prayers goes out to her and her family hope it is not to serious. This is a young group of players that is playing right now -young by playing at the varisty level is what someone was telling me if this is incorrect let me know. They do have talent and it will take sometime to come together so GOOD LUCK LADY RAMS.

Any updates on the injured Stevens girl for West Carter. Someone told me that she was definitely favoring her elbow during West's first game with Elliott County. Did the elbow limit her action last night? She is a good player and a competitor. They will need her at full strength this year.

Congrats to West Carter on the win.

Prayers go out to the injured players.

Raceland does have a young team but imo they have a couple of girl's with a lot of varsity experience that saw a lot of playing time on the fine Lady Rams 16th region "Class A" and 63rd District Champion team last season.

I look by seasons end for Coach B. Trimble to have the Lady Rams ready to make another serious district and regional run.

There are a couple of other very good coaches in the 16th. Coach Trimble may not be in a class by himself but it sure doesn't take long to call the roll ;):thumb:.

(hopefully the injured players on both teams last night can make a full recovery and have sucsessful season)

Stevens played very well for West. I did not notice her favoring her elbow. Only knew it was hurt because of protective pad she had on over the elbow.

Hope Clark gets good news about knee. Always hate to see someone end their season early because of injury.

Vanderhoof was 11 of 12 from field with 29 points. Played excellent. On fire.

I recieved a report on Raceland's Jesse Clark just a short while ago on her injury. I was told that she had heard a "pop" in her knee and the trainers that were at the game last night said that it possibly could be a torn ACL. Jesse will be having an MRI today. "If" so ths is very bad news for the Lady Rams and also the Lady Rams softball team (she was the starting 2nd baseman last season), the Volleyball team where she was an all area selection. Like was reported, if so she will possibly/probably bee looking at around a 9 month rehab on the knee.

This is very troubling news to hear for Ms. Clark, she is a super kid and a great all around athlete at Raceland.

Prayers from this Rambler household for Jesse Clark .

Hearing good news about Jessie. She didn't tear her ACL after all. She has a Grade 2 sprain and starts physical therapy next week. She could return as early as 2 - 3 weeks, but the important thing is that she comes back fully healed in order avoid further injury. Good luck Jessie, in your recovery. We all love you!

Good to hear she will be back.

Great news for Raceland fans. When Raceland gets its whole team back to full strength, they can pull some upsets in the 16th.

Who will replace Clark for the time being?

I would say it would be the young Phillips girl.

Maybe someone else, I'm not really for sure, any ideas??

I recieved word this evening that the MRI revealed a 2nd degree sprain on the knee, Jesse will be out 4 to 6 weeks. This is much better than what was originally thought.

Get well soon and back on the court Jesse - :ylsuper:
