absolutely, I was just stating the teams that I have heard the most noise from.

It would be great to have all 5 in the top 50. Will it happen ?

 

Manual returns 4 starters and 90% of their scoring. They have 3 of the top 10 players from the coaches poll in the region with Jenkins, Williams, and Cosby.

 

Ballard loses 90% of the scoring and only returns one starter and will not start anyone over 6-2 in height.

 

Male loses 4 starters. Jeffersontown loses 3-4 starters including Basey and Coleman. Trinity returns 3 or 4 starters and will compete for the region.

 

Kentucky has a ton of talented teams this year. Don't know how many teams will be in the Fab 50 when the shake out occurs, but it will be fun to watch.

I think Mason Co could easily be one of the top teams in the nation. They have good size, can shoot ,they're quick , can make the good passes and are loaded with experience. :ylsuper:

I wouldn't say one of the top teams in the country. I could see a lot of teams a lot better than Mason Co. They are a very good Kentucky team and I would prob. see them in the top 50-60. But not in the top 10-20.

Playing together all these years has its advantages. Chemistry would make for some wins over more than a few of the academy and private schools that dominate the top 50.

It's hard to believe Mason County did not win the region last year in the 10th. It will be doubly hard to believe if they don't win the 10th this year too.

Its also hard to believe Mason Co. went to the final minutes before the Scott Co. game was decided, but Scott Co. took GRC to the woodshed and then GRC made up for it all by beating Mason Co. in the Region finals.............Thats high school basketball.

 

Who knows what this year will bring !
