I disagree because Beechwood usually has a kicker that can reach the endzone and make the other team go 80 yards. Plus Beechwood usually had a pretty good punter even if he was a starter on O or D. That may have helped the coverage out.

 

I just do not think Beechwood stretches the field enough and Amelung can really do that. Just getting him the ball would open up the rest of the running game and passing game. Plus get him the ball on kicks.

 

Let me rephrase my statement: if the other team has the opportunity for a return, it is always dangerous. Yes, they have had great kickers in the past who usually reach the end zone on the kick off. As for the punting, I think Teipel is doing fine.
