JL didn't pass alot tonight, mostly Furnival and Stinnett running tonight. The radio call really gave Woodford at a huge size advantage, but it seemed like the Waves were a lot quicker off the ball.

I hope now people take Meade Co seriously.

W C started out this game very strong . On their opening drive they drove 80 yards with a bunch of short passes and qb keepers and capping it off with a perfect pass over the shoulder to # 10 with 2 defenders covering, for a 30 yard td. After that it was all Meade. Meades defense forced 4 ints. and 2 fumbles. One int. ran back by Nick Stinnet for a td, another ran back to the 10 by Chris Roe . Meade Counties defense did give up some yards on screen passes and quick slants just beyond the line of scrimmage, but nothing big . Meade had 1 easy drop in the end zone, 1 fumble at the 1 foot line, and another fumble inside the 10. Also had a 36 yard field goal hit the right upright.

The Jackets have some good athletes. They were very big up front and had the speed to go with it in the back . They got beat by a team that is playing its best football at the right time. When you don't have a lot of speed or size, you must be where you are supposed to be to make plays work. We are beating teams with fundimental football. And on the defensive side if you have the ball 11 defenders will hit you unless the whistle blows.
