Wayne County 25 Garrard County 20

Featured Replies

Good game from Lancaster tonight. Garrard scored on a 49-yard pass play from Stephen DeBord to Jordan Phillips with 4+ minutes left in the game. The Golden Lions forced Wayne to punt and got the ball at their own 35 with 2+ minutes to play. Drove into Wayne territory, but a 4-and-4 pass fell short.

These two teams will meet again at Wayne County in the first round of the playoffs. Should be another good game.

Good game. Was my first road game of the year. Great night for football. I agree its gonna be a good first round match up.

Did I see this correctly on the news where there was a stoppage for fighting, also including fans rushing onto the field?

Well, as I understand, a parent came on the field and hit/pushed etc a player after the parents son had a pretty hard hit put on him and said parent felt it was unfair/excessive. Maybe someone can clear up the picture, but it was reported the parent was arrested.

you can go to http://www.wkyt.com and see a video of this incident. Its underneath the marching band picture in the most viewed videos section.
