They are not very deep and have struggled mightily this season, but they have also played Ironton, Wheelersburg, and Wayne.

Well Russell pretty much owns Ashland in the Kiwanis Bowl, they have an Ashland boy coaching them, and he does a great job, so I'll say you can throw their 0-7 record out the window.

But they have also played Ironton, Wheelersburg, and Wayne.........

Who else has Russell played this year? Is the Boyd kid still their QB?

Greenup County beat them 42-0 on their own field. It was ugly for the young Devil's.:flame:

Yeah too bad you can't do that, right?

Hey I was making an observation of the game from an Ashland fan's perspective. GC gave the young tomcats all they could handle and have nothing to hang their heads over. Fortunately for us tomcat fans the young tomcats made two big plays to take control and steal away with a victory. It was a great game to watch though no matter which sideline you happened to be on.

The Russell Frosh have a new coach this year, Shawn Moore. He's a good guy and coach, but has had a rough first year. The Ashland boy you are talking about is now their JV coach.
