Does anyone have the details on this game? I was not able to make it to this one tonight and would like to know how the game went? Did GC look flat, or was Spencer that good?

Spencer and Henry will be a great game next week.

I would say that Spencer was that much better.

Spencer does have a nice running back in Chris Riggs. What happened in this game? Was turnovers an issue?

Spencer scored on first 2 possessions, Gallatin came back to make it 14-12 at half time. Spencer scored at the end of third quarter, to go up 21-12. Fourth quarter was all Spencer, they ran off Gallatins right end all night. Gallatin really missed Henson, who was out for second week. Gallaitan came out flat tried arm tackling all night and Riggs and #5 just ran thru them. This may have been the worst officiating crew I have seen in 33 years of football, this did not cause the outcome but they were bad. Good luck to Spencer the rest of the season.

We where at the game.

Because 14-12 with 5 minutes to go in the third quarter, they score make 21-12. We get the ball drive to the 35 or 40 and one of the worst no calls I have ever seen on a pass interference led to an interception. We then got the ball back at the beginning of the fourth still down 21-12 after I believe 2 first downs had to punt. With around 7 minutes to go Riggs (who is a super back) broke a 50 yrd TD. Then they add a score with 2 minutes to go JV vs JV. So thats my reasoning!!!!!!!! May we here yours?

I know Spencer Co. is a relatively new program. It seems they have made great strides in just a few years.

There is no way that Spencer is that much better. Like Olballcoach said, Gallatin really missed Henson. If he was there, Riggs wouldn't have been able to run off-tackle all night.
