Maybe I ought to pick against Bullitt East more often :lol:

 

BE up 35-14 with 10 minutes to go, held on against a North Bullitt team that never gave up. Great football game. Sportsmanship from both sides. Great game between to very good teams.

 

See you guys again in the playoffs.

East played a great game! Overcame a lot of injuries. Hope the young man from East injured early has a speedy recovery. Looks like a very good district race come playoff time.

A very exciting game to watch. BE finally gets off to a good start and were able to hang on against a spirited NB comeback.

A lot of injuries for BE is right. 4 starting offensive lineman were out, plus a starting RB/CB, starting ILB (one of the OL) and a few backups. And for the freshman who was taken off the field in an ambulance, he's going to be out for a while as his ankle was dislocated. It was set tonight and will have surgery on it early next week. As far as the district race goes, if LaRue beats Marion, then it will be absolutely ridiculous to figure out the seedings.

Great game all around .. was really proud of both teams. Too bad RD went down in the first half. Looked like he was getting into the flow of the game when he got hurt.

Isn't this considered an upset...especially with all of the injuries BE had...when I was reading the predictions thread it looked liked most picked NB

A bit of a surprise maybe but an upset .. probably not. BE has dominated the series, North had it's first win in 11 years last year. North Bullitt was favored but not a huge upset.
