I don't think Raceland would go wrong with any of the 3, Jeff is just the perfect team player who needs to be on the court, Cody has a tremendous upside for a Soph who could have a double-double every night, KC perfect point, and Peyton proved if he is dedicated he can run the team, as far as Dylan only true game situations will determine where he is, he has been away awhile but he is a good athlete, and no one shoots like Logan when he is hot

But this summer Nichols has shown himself more a scoring threat instead of a point guard. Tolliver is one of the best all-around players on the team. I look for him and Watts to "stud" it up this year.

There is no doubt KC has improved his scoring ability, but IMO if he continues to drive and dish 80% of the time the opponents are in trouble. Looking at a possible starting 5, 3 will be 6'3 or taller an 1 just under, its been along time since Raceland has been this tall

To be honest i can't remember since they have been that tall. Maybe when they won the All "A" and the district a few years ago. Or maybe Pettrey's seniro year when they had him, Ross, and Watts. Not quite for sure on that one. I'll have to get out the old programs to check on it.

IMO thats your best all around starting 5 as far as scoring, defense and rebounding

Imo the Raceland Rams Basketball program will be in VERY good hands with the new coaching staff/changes.

 

Raceland will be a Senior laden team along with some underclassmen that should contibute big. One underclassman that I look for big things from is Cody Barker. Barker is a soph. I believe and is around the 6'3" - 6'4" range.

Raceland should imo be the team to beat in then 63rd. Of course, as always a team has to go out and prove it on the court. Basketball games are not won on paper or on a computer keyboard.

 

This could be a very special season in Ramblerville and for the Raceland basketball team. Good Luck to the Rams. :thumb:

I agree Oldrambler. Cody Barker has tremendous upside and only a Soph. He got a lot of game experience as a Freshman which will be a plus coming into this season. I think he will be a difference maker on this years Rams team. I would also like to see him in a baseball uniform this Spring.

Personally i wouldn't mind for Barker to be coached by Tom Collins this spring. ;););)
